INTRODUCTION
On April the 1st the premiere of the play ‘Infanta’ by Ballet.Theatre took place at at the Boris Eifman Theater in St. Petersburg as part of the International choreography festival «Пятилетка». The work on the project started at the very beginning of the creation of the play itself. Dasha brought us her sketches of Oscar Wilde novel staging. The idea was to compare two images, two different worlds – the pure and light world of the dwarf and the technogenic world of Infanta, immersed in media.
RESULT
In the project there were used modern instruments of creating the generative graphics
- Tracking systems for projection onto the floor and the artist;
- Point cloud recorded via Kinect
- Realtime timeline with the possibility to make adjustments on site
- A screen with an audioreactive background
- Some of visual states set to the midi controller that were switched on and adjusted in real time
